What is motherhood? I am finally facing this question head on.

Tough. Complex. Out of this world. Extraordinary. Different. Exactly what I needed

Our loved ones will always be with us because it is us who keep them present and alive in our hearts

It's amazing to see how different we are from each other, and that's what makes life more interesting

Physical well-being is largely affected by your mental well-being. This is why living a stress-free, happy life is the way to go.

I should find my own happiness and not rely on, or attach my happiness to others

Differences make life interesting, but they can make things difficult too, especially when one strongly believes that the other is wrong

God has made us capable beings. We can do anything. We are not helpless, but if someone offers to help, be grateful.

I try to accept these - my past, my present, my possible future, my likes & dislikes, my habits & beliefs, and say these make up who I am

They are who they are, and you are you. Let's embrace who we are and never be sorry for being ourselves.

We live in a world defined by dichotomies, absolutes - black and white, good and bad.. but is this really it?

By accepting the fact that we are all different, and that we each have our own journeys, life will be much easier.

We try to be like others, or the idea of the perfect self, and try to hide our real selves. This hinders us from living freely and happily.

Don't dwell too much on your past. Accept it. Appreciate it. Learn from it, then move on.

Everything is part of His plan

We didn't know what the gender was yet at this time, but I felt here that our baby was already speaking to me :)

This would be the biggest change in my life, the biggest occurrence in my life that will create the biggest change. Woah. What do I do now?

I draw strength from within, yes, but the Lord had also given me extra help outside me. He gave me my husband, Kish.

Despite the complications, our baby's hear rate was still well within normal healthy range. We have a strong baby here, like her parents :)

So for everything that's happened, I really am thankful. She really was a gift. Thank You, God.
